We are seeking a Banquet Houseman to assist in setting up, maintaining, and breaking down banquet and event spaces. Your role is essential in ensuring a seamless and professional event experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Assist in arranging audiovisual equipment, staging, and lighting as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in event areas before, during, and after events
- Support banquet servers and event staff with setup and breakdown tasks
- Respond to guest needs and special requests during events
- Ensure storage and inventory of banquet equipment is organized and maintained
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event setup, banquet support, or hospitality preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last-minute changes
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
