We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Event Cook to prepare high-quality meals for banquets, catering events, and large gatherings. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring food meets presentation and taste standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to event-specific menus and client preferences
- Work efficiently in high-volume settings, ensuring timely meal preparation
- Maintain consistency in portion sizes, presentation, and quality
- Collaborate with catering and event staff to ensure seamless service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean workspace
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations at event venues
- Manage inventory and ensure all ingredients and equipment are properly stocked
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Event Cook, banquet chef, or catering chef preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen operations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
