We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Event Cook to prepare high-quality meals for banquets, catering events, and large gatherings. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring food meets presentation and taste standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to event-specific menus and client preferences
  • Work efficiently in high-volume settings, ensuring timely meal preparation
  • Maintain consistency in portion sizes, presentation, and quality
  • Collaborate with catering and event staff to ensure seamless service
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean workspace
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations at event venues
  • Manage inventory and ensure all ingredients and equipment are properly stocked

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Event Cook, banquet chef, or catering chef preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen operations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation
