We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Steward to assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth workflow by supporting chefs and kitchen staff with dishwashing, cleaning, and inventory organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment
- Keep kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas clean and organized
- Remove trash and recyclables, ensuring a hygienic workspace
- Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing kitchen supplies
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Steward or in a kitchen support role is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
